Summer Update

It is nice to be back on the world wide web and have Internet access again - who knew you could have withdrawals?! I am in the process of returning all the emails...thanks for being patient with me! Here are a few updates and things you need to know:

1) I've moved. And we're not talking to the other side of Clear Lake. I have moved over an hour and half away to the lovely suburb of Cypress, Texas. What does this mean for my clients in Clear Lake? I will still come down that way for sessions! Have no fear, it can work out. However, if you are wanting studio style portraits you will have to come up here for my in-home studio (which is bigger and better then before!). For the rest of 2008 all mini-sessions will still be held in the Clear Lake Area at Bay Area Park. In 2009 I will start doing some in Cypress, but continue to have a couple down in Clear Lake. If you ever have any questions, please feel free to email me!

2) I am now available for Saturday sessions!! I know a lot of y'all will be excited about this. Since we have moved and I am pregnant with my third child I have quit my PRN job as an OB nurse. I usually reserved this day off in case they needed me either for a Friday or Saturday night shift. Now this won't be an issue, so my days available will now be Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday! :)

3) If you are wanting holiday sessions done (for Christmas cards) I advise you start booking for September and October in order to have everything in your hands in time. You don't want to be sending out your cards the day before Christmas! I am working on some new designs for cards and will have them on my website soon. I'll post here to let you know when they are available to view!

4) My pregnancy is progressing very well! I am now 18 weeks (4.5 months) and everything looks great. I'm a little surprised that my stomach isn't as big as it was with my last baby (my second), but he was also a HUGE baby. I'm hoping this little bundle of joy will be normal in size like my first son...fingers crossed! We still don't know the gender of the baby...we like surprises! With my history though I will more then likely deliver in December...even though I'm due in January. I will be stopping sessions for maternity leave the day before Thanksgiving. I'll come back in either February or March - I'll play it by ear and keep everyone updated. However, newborn sessions will still be done during my maternity leave! Out of Service

If you have been trying to reach me the last few days via email (and for the next few days) I will not be able to respond to you as I have no internet connection right now. We just moved (will post more about this later!) and we are having a hard time with our provider transferring the service over. I wanted to update y'all while I was at a family member's house and was able to get on here. Hope to be back soon in full swing! :)

Pictures at the Park

I held another mini-session today at the park. I really like these and it appears so do parents! :) Today was booked solid with children and babies out at Bay Area Park. They all did wonderful!

If you are ever interested in doing a mini-session you can email me for more information and dates I will be holding them (my next one will be in September). Everything is half off - half off the session fee, half off the prints, and you receive half the amount of proofs (it ranges from 5-10 proofs). It's a great deal!

The cat is out of the bag...

...so to speak. Well, there is no hiding it any longer. What is it you ask? My belly bump. Yes, that's correct - I'm pregnant! :) I'm almost 14 weeks and cruising right into my second trimester. A lot of people have asked why I cut down my sessions to only four a month...and that would be why! My first trimester was rough with morning sickness, but I am sailing through it just fine now. You will start seeing some of my maternity pictures as I progress...I love taking my own! :) I'm due in early January (and we aren't finding out if it's a boy or girl!), so I will go on maternity leave at Thanksgiving. I will, however, continue to do newborn pictures during my maternity leave since you can't control when they arrive! :) So here is my 13 week belly picture...enjoy! :)

Back from Chicago!

My oldest son and I had a wonderful time in the Windy City (he's in the orange shirt)! I am now back to getting orders in, finishing birth announcements, answering emails, and editing proofs. Back to work it is! :)
